Calico critters houses and furnishings

Post by aferguson » Sun Feb 27, 2011 11:22 am

i saw these at TRU today and came home and checked out the website. Several really nice buildings, some quite usable for dios i think. Detailed in and out, furniture etc.

Eyeballing them in the store, the furniture, doorways, stairs etc looked bang on 1/18 to me. The critters not so much. :)

Not cheap but compared to playmobil and other such buildings, not too expensive either. Check out the mansion on page 2.

yeah it sort of reminds me of the house in bridge too far that becomes a british aid station. It's pretty cool. Even has lights.

Yep - I've been eyeing some of these in TRU for awhile. They have a nice display of one set up, and it looks very very close to 1:18 in all aspects.

Like you said, a little pricey, but there aren't many other options for finished 1:18 buildings (e.g. the Pola buildings are less finished and more expensive). Most dollhouse lines are too big; and the few that are closer in scale tend to be covered in pink

Now to just figure out what would a platoon of occupying Germans do with a family of people-sized bunnies?
