My new toy
OK, it is 1/6, but neat. A German Searchlight. It actually lights up to spot those C-47's coming to make life tough for all the "good little Adolph's".
All and all, a interesting companion to our 20mm AA guns, nicely made, all metal except for the light plastic "glass". I am happy with it.
Made by a small Chinese company called ToyModel. Nice people to deal with. I expect nice stuff from them in the future.

Re: My new toy
That is pretty cool, and looks to be well done.
Hopefully they will continue with other releases.

Hay TTT that is cool!!!!!!!! Is that real simulated leather on the seat?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Got a light?
Awesome, and could also come in handy during a power outage . I see from their somewhat comical website (OK, they speak better English than I speak Chinese), they also make a cool WC-52, I'm sure it costs a pretty penny.

Re: My new toy
The seat bottom is cushioned leather/like material.
The ToyModel site does show some very nice pieces.
The WC-52 shown there has some problems for me:
1- The winch is set way too high on the front bumper. On 1/1 WC-52's the top of the winch is even with the fender ends. The TM winch, makes the TM truck winch look like an afterthought.
2 - The cab top pulls the top of the windshield at an angle, the 1/1 truck windshield was straight up vertical, with the top or without.
3 - The truck has no tow hitch. The main purpose of the truck was to tow a trailer or a small howitzer or a anti tank gun.
4 - Some pics at the bottom with different markings are those of a 1/6 truck from a 1/6er here in NJ and his truck has the winch set right and the tow hitch evident. I don't know what the story is but I've seen those pics posted elsewhere by the NJ guy.
The TM site has some pieces that will end up in my mancave.
