Kind of fitting I guess that one of the last posts is about a price increase. Just what a bad economy needs, higher prices. Especially to BCs already bloated retail prices.

Good or bad, it's nice to get some news of the hobby. Of interest is that break in at JSI.

So JSI is back on track with some S2 versions of the P-38, F4U and possibly a P-40.
I hope it's an OD green P-38. Kinda tired of the silver versions and I missed California Cutie.
I suppose the P-40 will be another but different Flying Tiger as was discussed earlier.

I haven't bought much from BC since their exclusive heydays of BBI P-51's and the Pearl Zero. I give them credit for doing that, where otherwise it probably would not have happened me thinks. I got some sweet deals during their sales, and managed to get all the exclusives. Sometimes 2 for one. Those days are gone.
I kinda got a little teed off at them when I got an Admiral "Patricia" Saber with oil stains on the tattered box, and they wouldn't do anything about it. probably because they were out of them by the time I called them. I let it go.
The last item I bought from them was that Kouinoke Zero.

While their prices have jumped, haven't everyones?

I know....he hurt himself in the long run doing this "stunt" I still think he could have asked Peter Jacskon if he wanted to be a silent partner....I mean....

This owner will never, I repeat never work in the hobby again.... what a shame.

Shame to see the BadCat blog disappear.

It was good for updates, many of which were posted on here.

BadCat did quite a bit for 1/18 with their special commissions, and I thank them for that.

However, I have heard of quite a few instances of less than stellar behaviour from BadCat.

Let me go on record as saying I for one have always had great experiences with Bad Cat. I have also gotten some great deals.

All of the e-tailers in the hobby are in it for the money. They get our beloved XD whole sell , mark it up and with the profit pay their bills.

THE BEST DEALS TO BE HAD WITH XD E-TAILERS IS OUR OWN AVIATOR NUT.

And says very little of us on this forum buy from him. He makes most of his sales going to air shows and the like selling his XD goods.

I have probably baught over 50 items from him alone. The more you buy the better the deals.

Sorry I got off of subject.

Bad Cat has been fair and has had quality service to me.

I made a couple of purchases from Michigan Toy Soldier several years ago. My credit cards have a pretty low limit though.

I never had any kind of beef with BC. I just always found the same item for less somewhere else.

Let's just say hypothetically that you owned a factory and I contracted you to manufacture some goods for me. Then, I didn't pay you for those goods and they were sitting around on your factory floor for months and you, a manufacturer, had no use for them obviously. Annoyed, you stumbled upon someone else who was interested in buying the product so you sold it to them instead to cut your losses. Then, when I eventually came around asking about the product you told me you were "burglarized" - or, better, you told me straight up what happened then I, embarrassed, told my customers you were "burglarized". You know, just a food-for-thought hypothetical story.
