The "new" Panzer IV "w/schurzen" has been released to Europe, you guys probably already know this, but it will be released here domestically sometime early next year, probably in the spring. As far as "new armor" goes,i hope they stick pretty much to WWII. I've got most everything i want in 1:18. I would like to see some "new" and "exotic" WWII vehicles though rather than the same "old re-paints". I hope they re-release those "building-diorama sets". I gathered that 21st.plans to make "A Bridge Too Far" set. Complete with "new" vehicles. Does anybody else know anything about this ?

I am not normally a big fan of Power Team Elite product (I like the detail and quality of 21st and BBI much better) but they have an awesome giant howitzer. I have no idea if it is appropriately scaled, as I am not sure what it is based on.

i've got it (thanks to Ranger). It's loosely based on the US Long Tom 155mm howitzer. It's ok as is but with some work you can make it OK, especially if you choose to put it in limbered mode. Getting it ready for firing mode is even more work but, with effort, it can make a pretty nice piece.

Good List Mark!

Couldn't have said it better myself. It would be too cool to have armoured cars. You can't even get a decent selection in 1/35 scale without going to resin, let alone 1/18th. Seems the powers that be feel this would not sell well.

I like the artillary and other soft vehicles, as well. Imagine an 88 or 25 pounder, 6 pounder or even a 17 pounder anti tank gun. Like the idea of medium or heavy artillary, as well. 5" or 4.5"gun or a long tom with tow tractor. Or some recovery or tow vehicles like the dragon wagon.

hmmm, some nice thoughts to reflect on.
