Anyone Planning to "Fine Tune" The Black Nights F-14..??

Post by f56tbird » Wed Jan 12, 2011 2:39 pm

Gentlemen..,
For those who plan to purchase JSI's next installment of the Tomcat.., barring any final paint problems, mechanicals ect.., is anyone going to for example replace the mains, nozzles, paint, ect on this bird..? My only concern is that I do not believe for some of us who have done customs that this plane will satisfy right out of the box and right to the display shelf or celing. Comments...???
There was a demon that lived in the air. They said that whoever challanged him would die. He lived behind a barrier through which they said no man could ever pass. They called it..., the sound barrier..

TKO 211 is presently repainting my Black Knights F-14. As soon as I have pictures of the completed project I will post them. The paint scheme I chose was the Jolly Rogers Low Vis scheme of aircraft Victory 101. "Vicky" 101 was the last JR tomcat launched from a aircraft carrier. has added the Skyworks engine nozzles, but not the Skyworks landing gear. I purchased the first release model that was lighted from Aviatornut.
