Question about Toys R Us

Do they still sell 1:18 at this very moment?

Depends who you ask. Some would get technical and say that star wars is there and it's 1:18 scale. It's true. They would say the PTE stuff is there and that is sorta true if you like cheap toys that look like they mostly came from a bubblegum machine.

In the 21C, BBi realm the answer is positively NO. It's too bad too. I can't tell you how many times I remember going in there and buying stuff. I miss those days. The new buyers at both TRU and WM have backed almost fully away from items that they determine to be "adult collectibles" Used to be all over and it was COOL. Oh, well. These days Ebay is going to become more and more the future marketplace for what we commonly refer to as 1:18. I just bought an F-16 off ebay... My most expensive F-16 purchase to date! Can't wait to paint her up into something new. But that is another discussion.

Ah, that is saddening. Congratulations on the F-16 though!

They DO have Forces of Valor tanks, IFVs and paratroopers sometimes depending on your area.

Right. :) The figures seem to show up more often. Look for them as "Assault Force" instead of "Bravo Team".

Has anybody actually seen Bravo Team instead? I've seen TRU exclusives show up en mass at Target stores (specifically Thomas the Tank Engine ... my nephews are Thomas fans).

I can't even count all the 1/6 scale exclusives I got from TRU back in the day. I wish they would have done the same for 1:18 products.

As recently as two months ago there was some Bravo Team at TRU, but it has since sold out and nothing there but the cheap kids stuff now. :(
