Hobby King, anyone ever deal with them?

Post by normandy » Tue Oct 26, 2010 4:33 pm

My wife wanted order a battery for an RC helicopter for our sons Birthday. He said to try hobby king http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_index.asp She did.
Not only did they send the wrong battery, they sent 3 of them. We have asked for a shipping label..................ya know to send the items back. " Please take a picture of the box item was shipped in, the label on the box, the packing material, the item in it's box and the item out of it's box " They still haven't grasped the fact that they sent 3 battery's without a packing list.

Now after 6 e-mails and 4 days hobby king is going to start a clam file and investigation within its company and inform the postal service. Can I get a big WTF.........................

So has anybody purchased from them without problems?
Thanks, Normandy

I don't know anything about Hobby King, but I feel for you. I'm going through something similar now with a laptop I purchased online. When it arrived the box was crushed, there was NO packing material inside, and the screen was cracked in the middle. According to the company somehow it's my fault because I didn't tell them it should be signed for upon delivery. Didn't know it was my responsibility to tell them how to run their business.
Good luck with Hobby King, I hope it all works out.

Just an update........got an email today, hobbyking will refund or credit the cost of the original item ordered. I just have to ship everything back to China. It seems odd when they have a U.S. warehouse.
Stay tuned..................
