JSI F-14 Upgrade
I got the original spotty AWH Christmas version of the tomcat last Christmas. I then had it repainted to get rid of the spots. I want to now upgrade it to metal landing gear bombcat with the new engine nozzles. Is there anyone doing this and if so what squadron . I thought I saw the grim reapers somewhere. So I guess the mods would be as follows....repaint, metal landing gear, and new ordinance.

The engines nozzles and metal gear come from Skyworks. They also have a new F-14 pilot and RIO crew figures. I recommend all of those. As for the optional weapons (the Bombcat). You would need to purchase one of the Black Knights Special Edition planes to get those. (300 plus). that was what I ended up having to do to get my VF-143 Pukin Dog's F-14B outfitted. In fact, it's actually better to start a Bombcat project with the Black Knights. there are some other little things about that newer release that make it more suited to become a custom Bombcat bird.
