When will we........
When will we........
When will we see our next WWII Warbird? I know our hobby is in a deep slump, but do you think we will see any new WWII Warbirds next year? It's obvious there is nothing coming out this year, I just hope next year offers something to look forward to.

That's the $64,000 question...
I would agree that, at this point, it doesn't look like we'll see anything new for the rest of 2010.

yeah 2010 seems pretty much baked. As for 2011?.... I sure hope we get some good news. While I love jets as much as the next guy I still would love to see some WWII return. even if it were some new paint schemes,- something! Otherwise it's going to be another year of custom paint work for me.

There's always the Skyworks models. They cost an arm and a leg, but the quality seems good enough and there are some interesting choices.

I'm using the down time to reflect on what I have. You get so consumed with purchasing that you sometimes forget to stop and take a long look at the items you've accumulated and just waiting for some attention. At least that's been my situation.

That said, I'm still sad that the AGT Passion Wagon didn't fly.

Re: When will we........
2010 has been a very dry year, other than the F-14.
I have only purchased a "fixed" F-14, and "Eileen" P-47.
But as has been brought up, it does give us time to appreciate the models that we have already aquired.
And I have no problem with that.

Until we see some real innovation in the manufacturing process, I'm afraid it'll be like this -- lots of false starts and very expensive products that actually make it to market and that only rarely.
