here's a blurb about the dark grey/dark brown camo. Pics are hard to find, for some reason. Interestingly, german pre-war war toys by hausser, lineol etc often have them painted dark grey and dark brown. In fact i have a hausser pak 36 (which works dandy in 1/18 scale btw) and it's dark grey and dark brown. I didn't like it when i first got it until i found out the paint scheme was accurate.

The camo was simply a dark grey base with dark brown patterned over it, much like the way british aircraft had a dark green base with dark brown and then dark grey patterned over it.

well I started the gears rolling, the info is going to HK tonight..hopefully early enough to change the final production model to the correct camo.

If it does come out brown over grey..you will know who to tank..er thank.

I deserve a frozen custard for this..too bad you can not get one in Florida(least near me)

I am getting the Pz II for sure.

I kinda wish though HM would have done their Pz IV they were thinking about releasing 3 years ago before the Pz II.

Plus a Pz IV H/J would have fitted into the lines with the 234s, and western allied armour they have already made.

i've got a 1/18 beaufighter r/c and it's really nice, comes finished in MTO camo. But i'm torn deciding whether to leave it or repaint it in overall grey, as they were in the eto attacking german shipping.

BTW, the HM MTO beaufighter shouldn't have rockets on it.

The DAK Horch will be out in Hong Kong by Aug.25, along with the latest T-55 and the 2nd LVT(-4 Iwo 1945) w/the 7.5cm Close Support cannon from the M8 HMC. Air Mail shipping from HK to US is about 10-16 days. So I will bet you can order it from HK and get it to your door before US vendors even get a smell of the cartons.

right now waiting on the Anzio M10 and Opel Fuel transporter to get here stateside.

HM needs to do some new 1/72 Props, like a P-38 or an Fi 156C Storch

I already got mine

Ordered on the 28th of July, Shipped on the 30th and arrived on Aug.7 from Hong Kong.

Going to go the same route on Aug.25 for the Horch/FlaK which I bet will be at my door before US vendors get the 234/3s

Same is going to be done on Sept.25, two months before US vendors, but confirmed by HM and Hong Kong as the ETA for the Panzer II C and Horch med.car.

I am just done with pre-orders here stateside and delays of releases you can get just as easy over in Asia now.

But, Always buy from HK, which takes 7-14days, A vendor in China takes 4 weeks time in shipping. I bought some MRC planes from a chinese vendor and they took 4 1/2 weeks to get to me.

But both countries provide a tracking number to that a good thing.

yeah, I get that some people order straight from HK, but I'd rather save a few bucks and keep at least some of my cash here in the US during the recession. I'm just wondering if these are due next week, or next month.

shipping was 7$ from HK to US(3.50GBP) for my 234/3, model was 22.99

Shipping here is 5-8.99 on a HM tank depending on the vendor.

just in the US shipping is 2-5 days vs 7-14 days

That's pretty reasonable. I guess you're not really spending that much more to get it from overseas. Is that per vehicle cost regardless of the number of tanks you order, or can you get a better deal if you 4-6 tanks at once?

depends on the vendor, one does a GBP off for each additional model, not sure if that's shipping or model cost.

but all that i have dealt with combine shipping on a multi-purchases.

That is a beautiful little vehicle. This line has just an outstanding level of quality to it. I only wish they would relase their vehicles faster, and keep increasing their range.

That's why I started buying from HK, it's normally 2+ months before US vendors get the models at the same cost.
