I've only gotten them out of the shipping boxes, they're still in the display boxes but they look great. The only negative so far is the yellow paint on the cowling of the 109E looks thin.

My Carousel Me 109E "Galland" also has the thin yellow paint.From what I understand,they all do.
The reason for this is supposedly that it was meant to simulate the painting of the nose in the field.Not a factory fresh finish.I have almost all the Carousel models,and the paint on them is excellent.I have to believe that this was entirely intentional by Carousel.
So,not to worry.Yours is the same as the rest of the "Galland" 109's.
I would highly recommend the Carousel FW 190's.Particularly "Yellow 10".The FW 190's are the best models done by Carousel.
