Granted only the FOV is an H series, but Dragon will be doing one at some point, actually as with all their releases they will probably do multiples of them with different paint schemes. Easy Model also has them on their books for some point.
Hobby Master has proven they prefer to make tanks not made by everyone else which seems to have worked great for them so far. Just seems like a waste to put all the efforts and resources in to something that is already so widely available in 1/72 prebuilt form. Especially if it would distract from them making more original tanks and vehicles not so widely available already.
yea and all of them make the same models..F,F2 and G.
NO Skirts, NO Zimm, various mistakes and slop in the tool(Panzerstahl)
Matchbox WAS the closest with H/Js, but they have dried up. I was lucky to get the one H I found for 25.00 last week. But it's not up to Dragon or HM quality. And as for Dragon making one, well we may be close with the IVG and yesterday's Mid-production Brumbär being released(and sold out in a few hours on Amazon)..but Dragon has not said anything on their Pz III or Pz IV, since 2007 as far as I know. The F and F2 were not even in the catalog when they came out, I guess the fact the Panzer IV has had a kit number assigned since 2008's catalog is a bit of hope.
This month they just released in a kit, the Panther Steel wheels, and Sturmtiger w/Zimm which are both older than dirt from their Armour collection. So I bet we will see a repaint of the F-G or a repop of G as a Late model with skirts(Like they did the 1/2 arse job with the early StuG adding a set skirts to the kit(the skirts came from the pre-built line))
The StuG still needs Zimm, as does the Jagdpanzer IV L48, as does the NEW brumbär and other non-tiger and panther subjects. But that is another rant.
Also the reason I choose HM vs Dragon to make a Pz IV, was simple. Look at their tank lines. They make multiple schemes and are quite prolific at doing so. More so at Dragon..and doesn't have Dragon's Waffen SS fetish the lizard is known for.
