I was wondering if anyone here knows what the future of 1/6 scale is for 21st century toys?
Are they going to make more R/C vehicles, figures or what?

I would say that since we have the new R/C 21c Hummer and re-release recently of the Kettengrad w/ new trailer, the Kubelwagon w/2 figures, the new Patton Jeep w/2 figures, the new Sahara Jeep with at least one figure, maybe two and there is a Stuart floating around w/4 figures as well as the WC-57 Command Car w/General Patton, the future of 1/6 is looking good. By the way, how many 1/18 ground vehicles have been introduced in the same period.
I just got the re-released CC with Patton and there are minor changes to the S1 CC and it looks great. When I first saw it advertised I thought the boxed figure of the General was just thrown in, but it's a factory addition with the packing including the African campaign Patton tucked in under the frame.
Really nice work 21C.
As to R/C, there are guys around who make everything in R/C. Factory R/C is nice but I've seen 21C conersions to R/C including CC's, Jeeps, even the German m/c with sidecar. All pop up on eBay from time to time.
Be patient.
The construction of the 21C vehicles are sturdy enough to handle the R/C hardware, some of the other 1/6 are not.

What 21C should re-release is the WSC. With the prices they are going for now, that has to be a win win situation.
The monster 1/6 Bradley is the only one I don't have, and that is mostly because the paint job is as ugly as sin and I dread the idea of a re-paint on one. That would be like painting a car
21C figures are getting better, not as good as Dragon or DID but serious figures.
Ranger, go with the Hummer. They can be gotten.

I've got a 1/16th Nebelwerfer from Verlinden I should finish, it would look good in a dio with some 1/18th armor.
