I'm looking for some truck differentials, preferably a front and back from a four wheel drive, these would need to be in the 1:18 to 1:16 scale.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only thing I know of is the half track . That has a semi differential on the bottom . Only half.ram04 wrote:Bump,
All you custom guys out there don't have any suggestions?I'm wanting to build something different, so it does'nt have to be historically correct, just point me in the right direction, Thanks.
Or you can make it out of a large bead. Like one of those big Mardis Gras beads.
Drill it out and slide a rod in it for an axel.
Michaels has small wooden balls that you can use to do the same thing.
With just a little detail work you should get it looking preety good.

I'm not sure if the idea would pan out, but I have noticed a fair number of R/C rock crawling vehicle in hobby shops as of late. I want to say that 1:16 to 1:18 were popular scales. The had accessory detail kits for some of them with gas cans, axes, Hi-Lift jacks, and so forth, maybe that's a route worth checking out?

If you're feeling adventurous, I could dig up some paper model files. You can then just print them out. I know i've got some GMC trucks, and an Opel truck somewhere......
