Yesterday the UPS man brought a couple packages for me. I was able to get these 6 planes from one source and under $200 delivered. That was a deal that I felt that I shouldn't pass on. The FW 190D has one broken landing gear and so does the Lou P-51, but they should be able to be fixed without to much issue. I was very excited to get a Spitfire, the PH Zero, and a FW 190D. This made my Monday alot better.

Yes. The two P-51s were one auction, the two German were another aution, and the Spit and Zero were seperate auctions.
I think that he packaged these planes the best of any loose planes that I have received.

yeah he is really good guy for whatever reason he is getting rid of all his stuff he is not raping people but helping people. i posted his auctions in the trade buy sell section for that reason. I think that is awesome they look great. I have gotten most of his modern stuff from him already he is real cool.

Agreed, but now his shipping costs starting to reflect the Nth degree of protection he provides in shipping.

true but i would have no qualms dropping one of his boxes out a 2 story building. His packing is second to none! I saw one guy say in his feed back "enough packing material to ship a car" or something to that effect and that is no lie.

Maybe not so much as getting out of the hobby, but moving on to something else, I got in to this alittle late and have been lucky enough that the members here have passed some of their collection to me.
I figure when I'm ready to do something else that i will be able to pass on what I bought to the newer members here.
Its not about the money to me, its the fun of collecting something that has a history behind it.
I just have always liked the weapons and vehicles of WWII, not the politics of the war, everyone knows that what was happening was wrong, but at the time people fought for their country, right or wrong.
When I decide to quit I'll put my collection on here and pass it on.

why can't I ever find a deal like that??? I'd give a key body part for a Spit, one of the very few things I haven't acquired since getting into 1/18 way too late ...
Congratulations on an amazingly great find!
