I (we) have a few models of his plane. Micro Scale made a set of 1/48 decals of the 90th for the Monogram kit. There also were kits in 1/72 and 1/90 of the 90th B-24. And I just did a Cafereo 1/144 Big Bird B-24 in 90th with the nose art of Queen Mae with decals from MYK Design Decals. I posted a side shot similar to the one you found to the web site thats being fixed. It shows 8 x 1,000 bombs just dropped.

Hi, I could not find a way to change my user name so there would not be two JollyRoger's. I guess the next best thing is to use a pic of my dads jacket patch as my avatar to tell the difference between us. The red was his squadron's color. I added a few more pics of the guillows Dauntless and Corsair. Also I had started a Guillows P-38. Instead of covering it in sheet balsa like my father did his planes I was trying to cover it in sheet plastic. I figured less filling and sanding. I had made the gun barrels out of tubing and gun blued them. It was going to be in the markings of Bong's aircraft Marge but I was going to change it a little. I was going to put my 6 year old daughters picture on the nose along with her name.
Well I put it away for a while. She is now 26 and this is how the P-38 still sits today! Time does fly. One added neat little picture, My son has his back to the camera dressed in the complete fighter pilots outfit, I'm leaning toward the camera with the sunglasses and Chance Vought factory outfit on. We're pullin the prop thru at a recent Memorial day airshow.
