Are these the newer prefect transform valks or the older die-cast metal ones?

I believe they are the older die cast valkyries. It doesn't say perfect transformation on the packaging.

I have Yamoto 1/48 scale and they transform pretty nice as far as i know are the exact same as the 1/60 other than size. I think you are thinking of rereleased Macross 1/50 stuff by BanDai which are originally from the 80's and was used for G1 Jetfire by hasbro.

I have not been here long enough or i would pick up Hikaru from you. well a couple more months right.

No, Yamato dropped the 1:48 Valks and did a whole line in 1:60 that transform the exact way as the 1:48 and are all plastic. This is their Perfect Transformation line.

Errr, I am confused ... thats what i said, i thought... maybe it came out wrong. I have 12 1/48 Yamoto Macross figures and none of them say perfect transformation, though they do transform perfectly. If they are 1/60 they are Yamoto and are no different than the 1/48 other than scale.

The only other Macross stuff are the older die-cast ones they are the 1980's BanDai 1/50 (i had one) or the 2005 Toynami Masterpiece 1/55 (I have 5) but they are not perfect transformation.

anyway if he has 1/60 scale they are Yamoto and they look amazing. As far as i know of only Yamoto has done 1/60 scale. I hope that make sense.
