There are two tigers on unimax site for 1/18. I did not realize they had another version beside desert paint scheme:

that's not a desert paint scheme it's supposed to be dark yellow overall, as was seen on the russian front commonly....it has also been called 'tan'. To my knowledge it has not been released yet but i wanted to confirm. This is the version i am most interested in getting.

The desert paint scheme I meant the version that is already out. This is the one that obviously has been released. The dunkel-gelb version must have been put on hold or something else. Foxhole Toys is the FOV authorized dealer. Possibly they have info on the 2nd version

The one I have is the dark yellow with dark brown. I've been thinking of repainting it, changing it to tri color scheme.

the version that is out isn't a desert paint scheme either. It's dark yellow and dark brown, as seen on both the russian front and western europe.

Desert tigers were either sand colour (like the 21c 88) or a light pea green. They also didn't have zimmerit because it hadn't come into use at the time tigers were in the desert (zimmerit started being used fall of '43).

The dark yellow one is the one i want. It looks good on its own plus has lots of painting options for customs.......it's like a blank canvas. :)
