ha - across a number of streets. :wink:
New place in Hell's Kitchen is in the shadow of NYT building, Empire State, etc.. while a telescope would be cool it might also be creepy. I think binos would be acceptable.

damn, I totally forgot about this post somehow. If you're still looking for some send me a PM, I don't have any spares but I see nice ones all the time at the thrift stores down here for $10 or so. I'll grab a pair and send them your way next time I see some if you want.

That area is insane for people watching, my ex lived in the TSq Hotel on 43rd & 8th (right next to the old NYT building) and her roofdeck was always good for entertainment. Something about flor to ceiling hotel windows overlooking TSq makes tourists feel like putting on a show... :shock:
