How to assemble Skyworks F-14 landing gear

Post by firefighterpilot1 » Tue May 11, 2010 8:54 pm

Okay, I don't know how to do it, so I was hoping we could get a thread started on how to do it. I have an unfinished set and I am getting pretty frustrated trying to assemble them.

Anyone care to do an unofficial instructions manual with pictures on here? Please?

They did not come with instructions? That is a drag. :(

the most frustrating part for me, right now, is figuring out which parts to use (and how) from the JSI gear on the new ones. Oh and also how to remove the wheel from the JSI gear.

well, that would have been nice to know about.

What they don't show is how you have to bore a hole where the pins go through. That would have been nice for them to take care of for $40.

The video on YouTube is for mounting the gear once it's all together. I just received a set of "raw" legs too and I'm trying to fit and drill them as we speak. Pictures and arrows to be added later.
