Thanks Everyone

Post by Coreyeagle48 » Mon May 10, 2010 11:00 pm

Greetings Everyone!

As a member of the original GP board and the GPXD board that took its place, I've been here awhile. As another member recently expressed, I too believe that it is time to move on and do some different things. I've built a nice collection of these items over the years and plan on continuing the collection, but times have changed for me, and I think I can collect and not be involved here anymore. I may lurk from time to time or pop in and say hello, but I will not be nearly as active as I have been over the years.

I want to thank P-51, Aferguson and Teamski1 for moderating the forum and providing this place for everyone here. I'd also like to thank the members for their hospitality and especially thank the ones I have made friends with over my time here. I wish everyone here the best in their lives and their collecting passion!

A final word from me, thank you to all the members of our military and the militaries of our allies for their service. A special thank you to two organizations that have treated me extremely well over the years. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds Flight Demonstration Team who has honored every request for posters, brochures, stickers for my grandfather, my classroom and myself. They are truly amazing people who bend over backward for their fans and supporters. I would also like to thank the men and women of the 111th Fighter Wing of the PA Air National Guard, flying the A-10 Thunderbolt II. From serving in Iraq and Afghanistan to answering questions to doing daily practice flights over my home, this unit has served our region proudly and faithfully, being made of of dedicated personnel. As they are soon losing their flying mission and the A-10's, I just wanted to thank the 111th for their service and dedication in protecting our nation's freedom.

Thank You All,

Corey

Its always sad to see a long-time member go, but I understand your reasoning. We look forward to seeing you pop in from time-to-time. Good luck and happy collecting :D
