i am assuming that all the tooling is done while it is cheap before the exchange rate kick in for both planes now they just waiting to see if they can make any money out of the new change in the economy .. wait and see by when Washington ruling
i think all the company are doing the same thing not just jsi or merit

BBI has not released anything 1/18 vehicle-wise in a long while. I hope they are working on new vehicles but I doubt it, I think we would have seen something by now. Sure they've been super quiet in then past but we at least had more frequent releases(albeit spread apart, but not this long).
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
