Does the world need a Sdkfz 223 ?
It is the command vehical.
It is quite different than the 222. The overall body is the same but there are some major changes
1.The eyebrow over the driving compartment is bigger.
2. Radio ant rack
3.Smaller turret w/mg 34
4. No over head basket just a flat screen cover.
Hear are some pics of a 1/35 scale when I started the 222

Hi PH
Sorry for hijacking your thread - but have you ever considered doing the turret protection for the Humvee?
That would be a cool feature to the displays

Yes I have and I would like to do it. But I posted this mod a while ago and the idea died on the vine do to lack of interest .
I think that it will be a cool mod to do.

Maybe is there a way you could adapt your Pavehawk Miniguns for a humvee? As of now, I dont think there are any non-TOW humvees out by BBI or 21c? Besides the cargo and super humvees of course.

If you could make a Humvee MG mount that could fit in the ring of the 21c Humvee, that would be fantastic! I would get one if the piece could be non-intrusive, meaning that it could be inserted onto the existing vehicle without alterations. You could even design the piece to fit one of the Bravo Team or BBI .50 guns to save on tooling costs.

Maybe start a new thread just for the Humvee turret. There has to be some confusion with a thread title like this one!

Hi PH
Did you decide whether you are going to do a turret for the Humvee or drop the idea?

Actually I have been sooooooo busy trying to fill orders but I have saved an hour each day to work on this.
I am making 2 versions one with turret ring and .50 cal shield and one with the plain 4 sided turret.
I have the shield made with pintel and the turret is roughed in. I spent all of today working on the turret ring .
This is what I am trying to emulate.

If I get some time I will try to post some progress pics.
