These are sorta new, but their "mat series" has been out for a while. I picked up one of the smaller ones when they first came out, and they are nice but pricey for their size IMO, and after having the opportunity to evaluate one up close, I decided I could probably make something similar on my own for less. I've always been a fan of BAR stuff and have quite a collection of the resin buildings and other accessories, but they've kinda hitched their wagon to the K&C crowd and their prices have gone up pretty steeply in the past couple of years.

Here's some pics of a small dio I did a while back using one of their mats. Honestly, I don't think it would be that hard make one yourself.

J G miniatures Resin buildings SUCK, bad casting, air bubbles, sink marks, and mean HUGE flaws in the 3 I've purchased in 15mm, enough I wouldn't give J&R anymore of my money for the stuff.

Unless I'm missing something I think we may be talking about 2 different companies...??

J&G Miniatures: http://www.jgminiatures.com/index.php

I dunno, the J&G stuff that is sold by Tree Frog looks like pretty nice stuff, although I've never bought any, Tree Frog has a pretty good reputation for quality items.
