Where do you get your resin? Can you give me a basic rundown of what is needed and where to get it to cast a first model? I wan't a hard resin for my models but im sure you know that
And where do I get the silicon? Thanks!!!

Hobby Lobby carries resin and mold making kits. If you have the stores in your area, they run 40% off coupons every other week also.

any good wargaming/mini store will have casting kits/sets
I use it to make copies of ground works..craters, roads, railbeds, bridges, etc in 15mm for Flames of War.

Their starter kit is a good price at $50

They're also great to deal with as a company. When I was a poor design student they shipped me tons of free samples (worked well for them, they've kept my business

).
flyboy, you should try contacting them and let them know what you're working on and that you're a student and can't afford to go all out but would love to try their product, see if you can get a discount or some freebies.
