Found this very cool website for the 303rd Bomb Group "Hell's Angels", there is tons of interesting information including all 364 combat mission reports in high quality PDF format for free download. There's also a CD available for $7 delivered that has all the mission reports plus noseart & photo galleries, KIA & POW lists, and much more. Great stuff for anyone who has an interest in the WWII USAAF precision daylight heavy bomber campaign in Europe.

That's some harrowing stories.
Mission #11 they had to break formation because of bombers above them were dropping their loads.
The highest casualty missions #98 and #229 were when they were abandoned by the friendly fighters on return. Then the Germans pounced.
Imagine getting hit by a 20mm shell.
Good reading though.
