Post by dcway » Wed Aug 17, 2005 9:31 pm

Hey Ranger
you got my vote on those planes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love wwII stuff butt this is crazy!!!!!!!! This seems like a pissing contest!!
between the 2 companys ,,pardone my french,, 21st teases us with an A-10 prototype,, BBI makes one but it's a major joke !!!! I'm ready to give up !!!! Somebody could make a major killing with the A-10 not only the single seat version, butt the 2 seat version also !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the 2 seater is the same size as the 1 seater butt the cockpit was made longer !!!!
not the airframe !!!!! the tooling would be about the same ... So whats the problem?????????????????? I think i'm going to take up another hobby
this one is going no where !!!! Dcway

First I highly doubt 21st will scrap their Zero project because they are going to try and better what bbi puts out with their version. Its competition plain and simple and its going to be a war I think in the coming months between these to companies to see who can out do who. I could be wrong but I dont think so.

Competition? Aside from the Zero BBi has just copied 21st items as far as WW2 goes. I like BBi as anyone else does, but the fact is there's a whole list of 21st Centruy Toys WW2 aircraft, and yet there's only 2 BBi confirmed that we can see and hold in our hands right now... and they are both ones 21st has been there and done that.

Well if it's competition then bring on the A-10!!! Both companies are missing the boat with this aircraft. Both companies can do this aircraft easily. Give us the A-10 BBI or 21st. Next to the Zero, it's the most requestd aircraft.

Copied? Yes 21st may have come out with the Mustang and Corsair first and bbi may have done the same thing but copied? Compare the bbi Mustang and Corsair to the 21st releases and you will see they are no copies as far as accuracy and detail goes. And I'm sure bbi has a list of aircraft in the planning stage as well.

And to bbi: Please do an A-10 for these guys because next to the Zero its the most requested aircraft on here.

bbi Mustang
The difference is... I've seen the 21st C Mustang ;-) I know you haven't been to comic con... I'm just relaying what I've seen. Once the 21st C Mustang comes out... all BBi has (as far as WW2 is concerned) is a Corsair that has extra features if you want to play the 'this is better than this' game.

p51 I'm not playing any game here on "whos better then who". I'm sure from what I've seen and heard that the 21st Mustang will be a winner no doubt about it. And when its "finally" released I will pick one one up as well as the Avenger.

The bottom line is that I'm happy to have 21st and bbi doing these planes and they can can "copy" one another to death for all I care just as long as they keep rolling out requested and good quality product.

I only wish that there was competition between BBI and 21st in the WW2 armor series. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the competition amongst the planes but it sure would be nice to have the armor pieces involved too. :D

I hear you but it's not happening. The way one Etailer explained plane sales to Armor was shocking  It allowed me to realize we are 2d fidel in all this and we need to appreciate every piece of armor we get.... :( ...and start collecting more 32x :D

I love'em both - but armor is just so much more fun, IMO!
