1:18 Skyworks Special Offer KI-61
1:18 Skyworks Special Offer KI-61
Thought I would let you guys know about this: http://www.militarytoyshop.com/product. ... &PT_ID=245
I worked it out with Jack to where we could offer these $325 cheaper by offering a little less detailed model and not commit to the production unless we have 10 orders.
I understand it is still a chunk of change but better than $725.
If this is successful we can do this with any of the Skyworks models.

Totally agree with the other poster, would defintely buy a Hurricane as well if it could be done cheaper.

I'm right there if the Hurricane is offered for a similar price...I mean, that is still a ton of money, but I spent that much on my JSI F14 by the time I had SkyWorks repaint & fix the main gear (worth every penny, though).
B of B version would be my choice as well (D.B. if possible)...Wonder why they started with the one they did? No matter, I guess, everyone has their own favorites!
A 1/18th Hurricane would, to me, be the "Crown Jewel" of my collection!

I would love to have a Tony and or a Hurricane.
Right now though I can't afford either.
I admire Skyworks ability to make these fine models in a world of nothing but Chinese stuff, it's uniquely American.
Would be cool if they found a way to mass produce them in the US for a competitive price, but how do you compete with near slave labor.
If I had the cash I would buy these full pop.

I also cannot afford the Skyworks planes, but that Spitfire kit sure is tempting. I may have to sell some of my other collectibles and get one of those. I love the late model Spits. I also want that Tony bad.
"What a magnificent aeroplane! They could have all their Spitfires and Mustangs!"
