The Tomcat made me do it.

Post by USCGSARdog » Sat Jan 23, 2010 6:17 am

Hey gang, just wanted to say a quick hello, and let everyone know that I will be around a bit more since my 1/18 fire has been rekindled.

How is that you ask? Well, I have always been partial to the modern aircraft side of 1/18. The one 1/18 A/C I thought I would never see, and my most favorite A/C of all time, is the F-14 Tomcat. Obviously my prayers have been answered, and I couldn't be happier! What a awesome model! I have a full repaint in the works for mine, but that is a story for another thread.

When things started slowing down in the 1/18 world, I got back to my nitro powered R/C stuff, which for some reason never seems to slow down. It has been nice, especially since my son is now old enough to enjoy and respect the hobby. He now has his first nitro truck and nitro boat! (still working on getting his wings!) Its wonderful being able to spend quality time with my boy.

Anyway, just wanted to say that its great to be back, and I look forward to interacting with everyone- both new members (lots of new talent 'round here!) and my old shipmates!

Now, bring on the F-15 and the Mig-29 JSI!!!!!!

Nice to see that the 1/18 community has retrieved another precious member

I can fully understand what brought you back... the F-14 is awesome!
We still need more new 1/18 aircraft!
