New line of small scale Japanese planes

Picked up the Zero which is first in the series awhile back. Pretty neat, 1/87 scale and also comes with a cool book. The scales vary as the Kate is 1/100.

I think that these what they call candy toys. They include some weird candy with a small toy and many times the toys are pretty high quality like the Furuta Star Trek models. These look really neat.

Actually they're a weekly type series. The box the Zero came in is 11x9x3 and opens up like a book. Neat stuff, no candy though

. The Zero's wingspan is about 5 1/2 inches.

Nice! Wonder what scale that was? Notice the grown up kid blowing on that propeller?

F-Toys has a similar thing in Japan. They make the Star Trek and Star Wars ships in candy boxes.

They have a WWII Bomber line too in 1/144.

The scales vary from 1/87 to 1/120. I think it's a Gekko bomber that's in 1/120. These are diecast and have pretty decent detail, the book alone to me is worth the price of the plane. The Zero is listed on ebay right now but not any of the others.

Kinda pricey with shipping, only gave $7 US for mine. Curious to see what others come down the pike. So far there has been 10 released to include a Nate and a Judy.
