1:35th mixed with 1:32???

I bought a 1:35th model of a German quad Flak setup. I have not built it yet. I am wondering how noticable it will be, if it is towed by a 21st Cent. Blitz that it is two different scales.

It will be noticeable. I gave up on combining the two scales.

the difference between 1/32 and 1/35 is almost the same as the difference between 1/16 and 1/18, if that's any help. It's a fairly noticalbe difference. However, having something like the flak being towed by a 1/32 vechicle probably won't be all that noticable unless you're quite familiar with the relative sizes of the two. However, if you put it beside a 1/32 flak it will look quite a bit smaller.

If you are going to mix the scales, place the 1/35 as a background piece.

If you are going to mix 1/35 and 1/32 vehicles, particularly of the same or very similar type, and especially when displayed in close proximity to one another, then the difference is going to be quite noticeable. On the other hand, 1/35 scale figures, for example the Dragon pre-painted figs from the "Can Do" series, work very nicely with 1/32 scale tanks and vehicles.

many 1/35 figures tend to be overscale, much like the XD figures are a bit too large. Seems to be common in most scales, that's why 1/35 figs work pretty well with 1/32 vehicles, whereas a lot of 1/32 figures look too big, like xd figures do with 1/18 tanks.

that is cause they are DS(Dragon Styrene) and not plastic and they are overscaled for 1/35. Compare a Can.Do DS figure vs the normal DML plastic figure of the same set and you will see the differance.
