POST 'ONLINE SHOPS' FINDS HERE...

Post by holensock » Thu Aug 11, 2005 4:16 am

I think Online Web Site Shop Owners should have their own thread! What do you all think?
Living here in the Cleveland, Ohio area, with Walmarts all over the place, and NONE of them having the latest releases of ANY XD on thier shelves, I started to order this stuff online! And I LOVE IT! Within days the XD or bbi is in a box sitting by my front door! NO NEED to waste time and gas looking for this stuff from store to store. Some will argue about about shipping costs, but for me, it's worth it! I'm tired of spending my day off or a whole evening driving around, fighting crowds and then either finding nothing, or having to stand in line at the 3 registers that are only open-with a total of 15 or more registers closed.
With Walmarts and Targets and TRU only carrying a few selected items, I LOVE being able to just 'CLICK' away and do my shopping!
I know that some online shops are mentioned on the other 'recon' threads with the brick and mortar stores, but it would be nice to be able to just find this recon info on one thread. Just a thought....And a big tip of the hat to all those ONLINE WEB STORES for making life a bit easier for me!!!

With the almost 10% sales tax in NY I often save buying online.....but I also love it for the reasons you mentioned - If I take an afternoon off to do recon it costs me more than if I just pay a premium for delivery. I have NO WM in my City - none - yet I still have a TON of Marines, Japs, and all the WM exclusive vehicles. Toys & the net go hand in hand :D

This thread should be good for heads up on sales, and to keep the online retailers competitive. Just the other day a member pointed me to a site I had never seen - and it had $45 Starfighters! That's a lot of Jet for $45 8)

Would you be so kind as to post the link for the $45 Star Fighters. Sounds like a good deal. :D
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

Online shopping works quite well! A few months ago when I was away at school and without a car, the online retailers (and the occasional kind boardmember in the trader forum) were Godsends! When I am at home in Fresno its even better as there is a Hobbytown store that gets the new planes and tanks. Still, the small dealers tend to get some things that don't show up a Wal Mart and vice versa. Nonetheless, its great to have so many options when purchasing XD!

I emailed them and they told me they were getting somemore in @ the 44.99 price!
They said they would email me when they get more in.
Wonder how much shipping would be??

Anyone ever buy anything from them?
