Lighted F-14s to ship Tuesday!

Post by Jericoeagle1 » Fri Dec 04, 2009 4:59 pm

Badcat Reports
Thanks to all who called and ponied-up for the Weekend of Heroes Special Edition F-14. This Tomcat, one of only 250 produced for the entire world, has been confirmed to us and we expect to be shipping these lighted versions out to their lucky owners on Tuesday. These unique aircraft will go out several days ahead of the standard models currently mired in US Customs. I asked for and was granted a few extra planes so if you haven't called or emailed for one, now is the time. These should be fun!!
Hopefully I'll have mine by Thursday or Friday!

Well, hopefully BCA will post their own pictures of the F-14 in the next few days.

How did the "special edition" planes get thru "customs" sooner than the regular ones? They still have to come across the ocean...

Yeah I thought the whole idea of pre-ordering was to be able to get one reserved for an individual and shipped sooner than the rest of the crowd. Guess that doesn't work all the time....
