I found some Avatar Amp Suits at Target and just had to do something with them... This is the first and is still a work in progress.

Cool! I like your modifications, though you should look into armoring-up that canopy to offer better crew protection.

The design would be an intimidating - though impractical - machine in battle. It would seem to be most useful in an urban combat setting. I could just see Russian or US troops engaging these and trying to trip them Ewok style with a cable or something

Thanks for the comments guys. Oh and the links. The Dust und Maschinenkruger sites are very cool.
When I saw this Avatar amp suit at Target, it just looked like it needed something.......so sifi.....almost Luft' 46, a What If kind of concept.
I went to the parts box (unused or extra parts from 1:18th and other scales) to do this custom. I still have plenty to do on this project but its what hobby's are about... taking a break from the real stuff.
Tman, Impractical - I know this thing would never have worked...but I'm going to add extra armor to the canopy because its needed.
Jay, I was thinking about a dio with a Russian tank, I have a 1:20th /1:24th scale JS-III kit maker unknown. A street dio with forced prospective might make it look believable.
Well back to work.........
Normandy.
