Any interest in Sherman add ons.
In the near future I am thinking of making some side wood planking and sandbag bins / rails for the sides of the Sherman.
The wood planks will go down both side with bolts to repilcate attachment.
And the rails will be seperate from the sand bags so that it will be easier to paint .
I will try to keep it simple in order to keep the price down.
There is another idea. I can make the planks out of REAL wood so thay they can be stained any hue to match.
Or were they painted in OD ?
Any interest ?

I wanted to do this a long time ago but there was no interest.exether_mega wrote:I Already asked for a dozer version but we were very few to want one.Razor17019 wrote:What about a bulldozier blade or mine flayer?
How about a turret with realistic damage?
phil

The huge mine rollers would be totslly cool. But those things are huge and there will be lots of resin.
I would love to do that mod.But I would need at least 10 guys to do it.
I think that the sand bag armor and wood planks would be a cool mod.
I actulally looked into doing the Jumbo but then I would have to make about 180 duck bill add ons for the track.

The turret and side would not be a problem. But because of all of the wieght with the originals. Those duckbills were on all of the Jumbos.
But if there is interest and I have 10 guys who want it I am there.

That is some what daunting.

That is a compleat build up of the turret for the M-36. People are not going to want to pay for what it is worth.grockwood wrote:Two suggestions:
A T23 76mm Turret for the BBI Sherman
A M36 Tank Destroyer turret for the BBI Sherman to make the M36A1 or to use on your M10 chassis(with a few mods) to make a M36.

Because of the economy people are holding back on buying customs. That is why I want to do simple easy customs.
Simple easy meens cheap.
Oh well not so much interest in the planks and sand bags.
They may have to go in the idea scrap pile.

I was looking at the Elfant, but I thought it was longer, and the road wheels were different.Ta-152 wrote:Sturmrtiger, Elefant/Ferdinand, Bergepanzer Tiger(P) {Recovery vehicle, not likely to get a lot of interest, i imagine} and the Rammtiger.Fritzkrieg wrote:Was the Tiger hull used for any other German armor? All good ideas. I posted those a few months ago (many months ) and there seemed to be no interest. The Calliope is cool with all those tubes on top.Razor17019 wrote:How about making rockets for the Sherman?
T34 (Calliope)
How about a Normandy hedgecutter attachment?
Same thing with the Firefly there was a bunch of interest then it died. I still want to do that one
IF THERE IS INTEREST.
Not sure of the Patton turret I would say about $100 range.
Again If there is about 10 people willing to pay for it I could probably do almost anything in armor.
