Which is the better buy: FOV m3a1 half-track or the M16 quad?
Both seem like great pieces.

.......... I'd go for the 1/2-track w/ the x-tra personnel . "That's just me though".

The quad .50 action grade in winter whitewash camo seems to be a little bit more in demand these days. I just recently sold one on the bay for over $40 not including shipping. I have another up right now, it's the only winter one currently listed, so it will be interesting to see how much it fetches.MG-42 wrote:* "They're both common as you know what"....

Tough to say, what version are you getting through? I noticed that Unimax re-released them as part of the D-Day Commemorative Series, and most notably the M3A1 doesn't come with it's complement of three figures, just the .50 cal gunner. If it's the original release, I would say get the M3A1, as I love the three figures made here.

If you're looking for the FOV half-track #81314 with three figures, Badcat, Flyingmule, Smalljoes, rinkets to Treasures, etc. have it
Trinkets to treasures has the lowest price of $34.99.
(However, all the photos only show it with one figure)

Yeah, that's what it looked like to me---as I said in my original post, all the ads showed only one figure with the half-track.
Here's one for $47.96---BUT I've ordered from them before and their website isn't always updated, so you should email them and confirm it's in stock:
