Well, I never thought I'd say anything like this about something from PTE, but I am impressed.... With a bit of paint and weathering this should make a very presentable 1/18 dio piece. Now, where in the heck do I find a Big Lots store, I'm not even sure we have em' around here...?? Ah, I guess there is always ebay. :? Too bad the building doesn't have a little more depth to it, that would make it first rate for that kind of coin.

so the new pte helicopter is available over here then.....it's a Dauphin, well a chinese copy of a Dauphin. IIRC it scales out to about 1/22...still neat. Would make a nice coast guard helicopter.

So, the tank must be over here now too then, or will be as everything else has pretty much shown up except the su-27.

They did have the chopper at my Big Lots. Not too shabby but I didn't have enough cash for both.

The Dauphine Helicopter is what I'd like to find now, but all the assortments I've seen in my area have not included it. PTE seems to do that, though, as a couple years ago one side of the country had the bridge set and it was no where in my area, though we had all the little firefighter and police sets. Not to worry as I can bide my time and track one down as these become more available

Has any one seen the A-10?

I've seen nothing yet around Pittsburgh, either, so this seems limited so far.

Looking at Fritz's pic of the building, I'm wondering if its possible to join 2 of these back to back to make a deeper building block? Looks do-able if the windows corresponds

No offense guys, but for $30 you're fortunate to get that... $30's nothing these days. Look around the toy aisle. That building is huge, so the pricetag's dinky by comparison.

I found this building in Aurora, IN at the Big Lots.
They had about 3 or 4 of them.
Little short on cash at the moment or would have snapped one up.
It looks good and with PTE, you do get a bunch of stuff with the buildings.
Looking for the Infantry Fighting Vehicle that some of you have found.
I like the looks of it. Looks like you could make a Russian BMP out of it.

My local BL had EVERYTHING!!!
-Bombed out Building
-HQ Building (older playset)
-Helio with or without rockets
-Infantry Fighting Vehicle
-Individual figures with horse, camel, campfire etc.
They expanded their whole toy dept. by a couple of aisles to accommodate all the new toys.

I'm going to keep randomly hitting BL's I guess. Thanks for the updates guys. Nothing in Pittsburgh thus far... Would love a new bridge playset too, but I'd love 2 more houses if I can find 'em.

Jesse, where in Pittsburgh have you checked? I'm going out this week to check the South Hills (Bridgeville and West Mifflin). Will hold off if you've checked them recently.

They are probably heading your way. In Sharon PA they had the helicopter, bombed out building, HQ playset, IFV and a couple other things that I can't remember

All my Big Lots have endless hordes of Aerial Rocket Helicopters sitting all over the shelves, some carrying the F/A-18 too, but no IFVs or building anywhere, I think collectors and scaplers cleaned out my area.

Thanks a bunch for the heads up that they're at least semi-nearby. Sharon's not too far.

You going to the Pittsburgh Toy Show in Monroeville in December (first weekend, Fri/Sat/Sun)? I'm going to be doing dinner with friends Friday evening... You're welcome to meet up with us, have some beers and food after the show. I know Star Wars isn't necessarilly your thing but still you're welcome along.

If you're back up in Sharon and see those sets and don't mind nabbing the bombed out building for me, hey I'll meet ya somewhere and pick it up off you. :) I checked Greensburg's BL tonight and nada. I'm going to check Natrona and the one near me in Leechburg soon.

I found one at BigLots (never been to a BL) it seems to have been the only one. The building looks cool but I'd like to thicken the walls somehow....just to thin. The rest of the building could use some work....maybe a few wooden doors and shutters. It's a start... 8)

No dice at my closest Big Lots this morning, but drive to a one a bit farther out this afternoon and struck pay dirt. Picked up the IFV and the destroyed building. Both seem worth while. No sign of any helicopters, though.
