GUYS:
Thanks for the P-47 info---the dual packs are apparently new because I think I checked Smalljoes about a week ago and there was no P-47.
I ordered two 1/32 dual packs (P-47/FW-190 and P-51/ME-262) plus the BBI P-51 Old Crow from Smalljoes.
I'm still looking for a BBI P-51 "Hurry Home Honey".....if I have any money left.

I think the Axis planes in there are unique to both Dogfight sets too, so I don't think you can go wrong.

GUYS:
Prices for the P-47/FW-190 dual pack:
ebay--$99.99
Aikens--$79.95
Smalljoes--$34.95
That's almost like getting the P51 Old Crow for free since the P-51/ME-262 dual pack isn't available anywhere.

Smalljoes has sold out of the P-47/FW-190 and P-51/ME-262 dual packs---that was quick. I'm glad I got my P-47-Schilling.

There's a P-51 B/C "Shangri La" up for auction I'm watching.
I want to see how high it goes. I've got one only.
Not many come up that often so it could go high.
$45 and 3 days to go:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... _500wt_973
He's also got a "Berlin Express" up too, though I think it's actually something else.
I thought they were all OD green and not silver. I'll have to check the Database.
Yup it's a "Bald Eagle" but he's got it listed as "Berlin Express"
People seem to be bidding on it too. It's almost as high.

I think the package for Bald Eagle originally had a Berlin Express label

I saw that this morning. I'm watching it too.
Wonder why so high? Just a few hours to go, so it may hold right there. We'll see.
It is the same as the 1:18 scheme though. He's clearly described it as 1:32.
Need to check if I have it.

Didn't notice it was basically loose and without a pilot. It seems to be holding at the same price. It's from Rezzed, and he does allow foreign bidding so maybe that's it?
Wonder if this is a rare one.
I haven't looked in my storage to see if I have it, but I seem to remember only buying a few of the 262's.
I know I have both versions in the Mustang-262 Dogfight packs, and I made it a point to buy the one with the cool looking squiggly lines over green camouflage (It's not in the database so I don't know it's designation)
I remember two or three of those, I think it's the last released 1:32X 262 sitting on the shelf at TRU forever before I finally bought one because there was literally nothing left to buy anymore anywhere.
Glad I got it though, it's the coolest looking one.
Anyone know which one that is? The squiggly lines over green camo 262?

Thanks AG!
What's so special about that Jagdpanther? Is it a rare variant version ?
On another note (if you ever want a shock lately I recommend this ) I was looking at completed auctions, and punched in "highest first"
1:18 DWK Spitfire for $455, next on the list was the 1/6 Scout Car...no surprise there.
Don't think I'm going to be completing my 1:18 Spitfires anytime soon. DWK is the only one I'm missing.

They only released one Jagdpanther, so I guess that would make it relatively rare.

It's doing pretty good at $40 now with a ways to go.
That's pretty good considering what they went for originally.
I think it's the most interesting looking 262.

I remember those '262s gathering dust at my local TRUs for months. Seems like that was only yesterday...

Yep, They were crap then and they're still crap.. The reason people are buying these is they can't be had anywhere else and they don't know any better.

I have about eight of the 21C 1/32 aircraft, and the Me262 is the weakest model that I have from 21C.
The panels around the nose, and cannons just do not fit right.
Not junk, but not very good either.

The original issue P-51D, Bf 109E and Me-262 were the 1st planes produced by 21st and they are the worst (most toylike) when compared to 21st's last releases. It is a shame that 21st never got around to re-tooling the Me-262 like it did the P-51D.
