LOL-
To be honest, knowing Roy and his sense of humor, he could have made me one of the african american soldiers in the Vietnam line.
Then he would have told me that it was meant to be a tropic thunder version of me...

LOL I was once a tropical thunder dude once...many moons ago....lol
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!

If you look at the item location in the auction it says: Oakland, Ca.
I have a strong feeling that this is the one from the old 21C archive vault.
Oh, the mystery and suspense of it all!

I have a strong feeling that this is the one from the old 21C archive vault. I think there were only like 3 of these things. I would love to say I have one but not to the tune of 800+ dollars.
Wonder what else made it out of the vault??

Wouldn't be surprised if the seller is an ex-employee of 21st.

It's up to over $900 now.
I emailed the seller twice asking him how and where he obtained the plane but he's never responded. I'm not sure if that means anything or not though.

I asked him the same questions and no response.
Maybe he thinks we are the Ebay Police? or maybe he got the plane in a not so "legal" manner...hmmmm...

Well if he isn’t answering questions then he probably has something to hide. Not like I could or would ever spend that much on a plane like that anyway. I paid less than that for one of my project cars! And I drive it daily.

Never answered my emails either. I do find it strange he mentions no where that it's a prototype, with some of the goodies (all 21st) he's listing surely he knows...? It's kinda like he's avoiding the word "prototype", perhaps as not to draw attention? Who knows. Bottom line any good seller answers questions because answering questions from bidders could lead to more bids.

I'm sure there's an XD support group somewhere out there for you.
I can only imagine how big your collection is!

Congratulations J.L., that's one rare bird! I'll trade you my new garage door (installed today) for it!
Whoever this seller is he is doing pretty well with these auctions, although his refusal to respond to my questions has pretty well turned me off to him.

Cool JL, a nice addition to an already great collection.
Definitely a new ebay record for 1/18 aircraft.

Real nice, I envy the collection you must have!!
Thinking about the seller, for all we know it could be the former owner of 21c. In case it is keep the return address, etc, to provide some provenance for this.
