Here are the final pics of the Wepsen 109, I got the final dullcoat applied this morning and the detailing done, now its ready to go in the cabinet.

Very nice indeed. I just finished my 1st custom 109 paint job tonight on a 1/18 bird. Love what you did.

Gburch, I don't have near enough yet, but I still have a bunch of repaint candidates in the garage so I think I will have eventually..

The stand is from a Corgi 1/72 diecast aircraft. It was originally silver and I painted it matte black.nooker21 wrote:That's a cool stand...where did you get it?
I bought 7 extra 109s and only a couple of 190s. The 190s will finish out the JV-44 collection I have started (I only need Red 1 and Red 3 and both of those are Dora 9s). The next 109s I am doing will be the all black nightfighter version and a JG27 Franzsiket bird. I think that will pretty much finish what I want for Emils and I will paint the others to be sold.Very nice custom you did on that hworth.
Your display cabinet looks great.
How many of those Carousel 109's and 190's did you get for future repaints?
