Here are the final pics of the Wepsen 109, I got the final dullcoat applied this morning and the detailing done, now its ready to go in the cabinet.

Very nice indeed. I just finished my 1st custom 109 paint job tonight on a 1/18 bird. Love what you did.

Gburch, I don't have near enough yet, but I still have a bunch of repaint candidates in the garage so I think I will have eventually.. :wink:

How many of those Carousel 109's and 190's did you get for future repaints?

The stand is from a Corgi 1/72 diecast aircraft. It was originally silver and I painted it matte black.

I bought 7 extra 109s and only a couple of 190s. The 190s will finish out the JV-44 collection I have started (I only need Red 1 and Red 3 and both of those are Dora 9s). The next 109s I am doing will be the all black nightfighter version and a JG27 Franzsiket bird. I think that will pretty much finish what I want for Emils and I will paint the others to be sold.
