r/c B-2 Stealth bomber 1/32 ish

Post by aferguson » Wed Jul 22, 2009 9:33 am

i thought i posted this a while ago but can't find the thread on it. Anyway, these are coming early august and the preorder price is $119, which isn't bad.

63 inch span, 27.5 inches long. Shape is good, not perfect but good. Need to tone down the decals maybe unless they look better than on these prototype pics.

i may get one. Though under scale for me, there's no way i'll ever be able to get a true 1/18 one. I can just hang it up high and pretend it's a 1/18 scale one further away...heh.

I like the opening bomb bay feature. Have to do something about those decals though, if i can't figure out how to tone them down i may just leave them off..

Be fun to have a stealth bomber, even if it is the same size as my Ju-52.

Most of the decals are on top so if you hang it high your view will mostly be from the bottom anyway.

there's a video on page 11 of the b-2 flying. Looks to be very nice quality for a foamy r/c; pictures in the earlier pages. I may have to cave and get this one, little chance of ever seeing one much bigger.

can buy the airplane for about $130

If it comes painted like that, I would serously consider getting one. I hate to go outside 1:18 scale but this one sure is tempting.

yes it comes just like in the pics. You have to apply decals. Personally i would leave most of them off...the white stands out way too much in my view.

i have been tempted for months to get one but finally decided not to, just because i know it will feel so out of place with my other 1/18 planes and once the enthusiasm wears off, i'll probably wish i hadn't bought it. Very well done though and apparently the foam texture is near invisible.

If it were 1/18...oh mamma would i have bought it.
