What Fw-190 do you usually use for the Maximowitz scheme?

This one I used a "Red 19" which worked really well. The first one I used a "Yellow 11" which seemed to take much more work to get it to look good. I still had to do a total repaint, but I didn't have to work as hard to cover the old color.

Makes me want one in 1:18 soooo bad! Really a great job Harry. Too bad the only option for me is so expensive. BUT- If could have only 1 Fw-190A that is what I would paint it like. You Rock Bro.

Thanks!
Yeah, too bad you guys only have one expensive resource for a 1/18 190A at the moment.. It really is the the best 1/32 plane 21st ever produced, IMHO and it could've been a hot seller in 1/18. I am seriously considering buying up more 190s and repainting for the market. I just don't know how well they'd sell for the price I'd have to ask..

Nice!
I haven't seen any custom painted 1:32 planes up for auction, usually armor, but as nice as yours are, it might be something successful. Especially with some good photos like these.

I have sold 5 custom planes on Ebay so far, including the first Maximowitz 190A, but I don't like selling thru the bay and would rather sell to straight paying customers.
