What 1/6 ammo would replitace a 30x90RB mm ammunition

What 1/6 ammo would replicate a 30x90RB mm in 1/18th scale?
It does not need to be exact but close.

this is for a Me-262 Diorama I have planed.

What I could find on this cartridge shows the size as 32.8mm. Is this the baby? If it is, what is the length in inches?

I have loose 1/6 .50cal, 20mm, 2.8mm cannon. In belts, of course I have .30cal, 50cal and 7.92mm.

Give me the inches and I'll photo was is close to 30mm in 1/6 size to see if it is any use to you.

32.8 mm is about an inch and a half

The perfect 1 1/2 inches in 1/6 is the shell for the German 2.8cm sPzB41 Anti-Tank gun.

Unfortunately, the 2.8cm shell looks more like a rimmed rifle bullet.

Hold your horses.

I made a mistake. The size of 18" is in 1/1. I didn't scale the 18" down to 1/6. Blame no coffee this AM.

Using Flyboys measure being 32.8", in 1/18 that would be 1 13/16".

In single shells in 1/6 we have the German 20mm shell which is the closest which is 1 3/8".

In linked ammo, we have .50cal, but those shells are only 7/8".

I can let you have a small belt of 25 linked .50cal shells but they are not real flexible. Much more flexible than the old 21C and GI Joe .50's, but still nice.

I do have a few belts of primo .50cal, made by DID, linked but capable of unlinking just like the real thing but those belts are in that black hole boxes of misc parts in my garage. I've been looking all morning, just can't locate them...yet. They are expensive anyway, no freebees with them. I'll post a pic, but gotta put back everything I dug up this AM.

First pic -
1/18 guys holding 1/6 .50cal ammo. US guy holding DID ammo capable of being dismountd, German holding more inexpensive ammo (DML, I think, could be 21C the last year when they produced some very nice 1/6).

Second pic -
Shows a collection, 20mm on Jeep hood (no link), 50cal, 7.92 MG and front is .30cal MG. In back is 2.8cm and 37mm ammo case and 50mm anti tank.

Jeep is Gate Jeep for scale.

I don't know I Sure wish I had a picture of the real thing being handled.... I would say the first row on the 2nd picture looks right but I am not sure...

the new 21st german 8mm MG ammo belt is just a tinny bit bigger than a 1/18 50 cal round.

you need the one that is just under 1/8 of an inch in diameter and the appropriate length. Measure the length of the whole round, the real one, divide it by 18 and that's the length you need in inches for the toy one.

If there is more than one of the correct size then pick the one that looks the most like the real round that you have.

Probably the 50 cal will be the closest, although a bit big. What you really need is 40 cal, but there is no such thing.
