Did they arrive early, or is BCA just preparing themselves to start mailing the planes once the 21c shipment arrives on Monday? It seems funny that should BCA have the planes, they won't start shipping immediately.
Still, I will go check my local Hobbytown store later today nonetheless!

Well, checked Hobbytown and nothing yet, but its still morning. I'll go again later today, and keep checking back until success! I know they are getting it, however.

But it won't be in the special packaging, no?
I thought WM would get just regular ole boxes....and that is some nice box art.

If WM gets the custom boxes then I have zero regrets about missing the con.

i believe the packaging will be different, yes. I bet this sells for way over $100 due to the description...because it makes it sound like the markings on the plane are what is unique, not just the packaging.
That's a lot to pay for a box.

Yes, that packaging was special for Comic Con. And I heard it will be a bit further down the line when that one comes out (end of year or next year).

I'm not sure on that one. I think the Camo one will be this year since it's next up.

Box art is nice but what really counts is whats inside.

I received my 104 from BCA today. Very nice looking jet. A couple of quick things that I believe P51 told us about. It is a 104C with a different tail than the one at ComicCon which was a G model. The box does say F104C/G so maybe they'll be some different G models in the future. The pilot has a squadron patch that the German 104 didn't have and the helmets painted for this squadron with a small shooting star on it. I think anyone who bought this without seeing it will be very pleased. Hope you guys get yours soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the Air Force version is S1 and is a "C" model, the German is a S2 version and a "G" model, and the Camo a S3 "C" model? Whats the difference between the G and C. and what unit is the German representing. Is it ours while stationed in Germany? I noticed the MARINES on the rear side. I think I might hit a couple of WM this evening and scope things out. I was going to wait for the Camo version, but if the German one is a different model, then I will need a "G" and a "C"

Both the Camo and the Silver AF versions are indeed C tail versions. (shorter with a smaller rudder)
The German Starfighter is the G model (extended tail, larger rudder)
In 1:18 scale the G tail is about an inch longer and slightly different in shape. I am not positive but I think almost all G models were used by other countries.
The trend for the pilots seems to be different unit patches and helmets for each starfighter! Pretty cool!
