Buildings for dioramas or a village

Post by ketelone » Mon Jun 01, 2009 5:39 pm

I have quite a few different buildings for a village, wartorn, WWII ETO. I have Conte's partially bombed out buildings and destroyed Church and priory, some of the Hobby Bunker buildings, intact, patially bombed out and outright destroyed, K&C's bombed building (very nice piece), Wooden Warroirs buildings (made from wood), etc. I'm always looking for potential additional buildings. I think I've discovered some new structures.
I usually go to HobbyLobby for paints, models, etc. The last time I was looking through their sales/clearance aisles I came across buildings in their Home Decor clearance section which were 66 2/3's off. These buildings are made of china/clay. Some people decorate their kitchens with these things. I guess they're cookie jars?..... I bought two and painted them and then weathered them and they are in the appropriate scale for a village as a farm house or home. They look not so bad with the other structures..... (My wife thinks I'm nuts.)

Lucky you! Buildings make the diorama, no doubt. Second the motion for pics.
