I need a new hobby....mumble....grumble...

I am excited about the new A/C and think it would be cool to have stands to display them on..

Now, XD is another matter..

As other's have mentioned, Great Recon, and thanks for posting it!
I'm most excited about the new Joe RHINO vehicle...looks like the transport in ALIENS, no? http://community.webshots.com/photo/393 ... 8729badcpn
If you're referring to these guys:http://community.webshots.com/photo/393 ... 8703oganDL ...they're various BATs [Battle Android Troopers] and their "leader" the cyborg Overkill.INTREPER wrote:But what is up with those alien looking COBRA's!?!?

Comic Con
Great recon, plus great pix on the 21st website!!
The Avenger looks great and I'm excited about the 3 different color schemes.
Although, as far as I know, the #28 would be the only wrong number for the Flight 19 TBM. Based on the list of the five a/c, four were TBM-1C versions and #28 was a TBM-3. The 21C version is a dash-one C.
Here's a link to Accurate miniatures which shows the four dash-ones. I double checked the four BuNo's with the Navy History site and they match dash-one C's.
http://www.accurate-miniatures.com/catalog/48003.shtml
I think the model will look great and sell well regardless, (I'll buy one either way!) but maybe 21C would consider changing the aircraft number on the Flight 19 Avenger to one of the four dash-one A/C's.
Again, great recon on a great display. I really think that 21C is making a great effort at quality plus marketing. From the looks of it the Avenger in accuracy will really raise the bar!
BTW, I vote a ZERO under the flag! If it is, they sure have kept it quiet!
Regards,
JimBob

Zero
Guys, I could be totally off here but my gut feeling is it's a Zeke. I can't imagine them releasing figures with no vehicles or aircraft to go with them.

Stuff like that makes me nervous! I don't see this picture that you're talking about. Is there a king tiger or not? Could somebody please find out?normandy wrote:Aferguson, Big ? whats under the Japanese flag?... how about a 18th King Tigerah what the hell, that'd be cool. Its just the print in the background is of the Panzer IV and the Panther. Just wishing.
I think if not a TigerIt may be a diorama of the U.S.M.C. and Japanese figures.
Every year it's just planes, planes, planes....
Man! And the speculation flies around here!!
On top of the flag was a display of the Japanese figures. But, if there is anything it will most likely contain the new Mustang. 21st put out some new stuff today including the new "Arlene" P-51D & Camo Marines.
I spoke at length today with Roy (great guy!). He believes that a Zeke would be more likely than a Zero in XD at this point.
1/32 displayed a new Brumbar assault gun based on a MkIV chasis...SWEET! Check my photos. The IG gun with crew will be released...uh um, Digger, by year's end. Most likely within 3 months according to Roy. A new MkIV short barrel was on display also. 3 new playsets are also coming out within 3 months!!! Also, the smaller sets like the IG gun set will be arriving soon! About time, I agree.
I will be uploading new pics very shortly.
Bravo two-six

Under the Flag
I finally figured out what's under the flag. It's a dio of Godzilla eating a Zero and stepping on the new figs.
I know, I know, it's my feeble attempt at humor.

I think this Alien stuff is from Aoshima.. They are coming out with an "Aliens" Dropship, APC and figures later this year..aferguson wrote:it says they're 1/72 scale. Don't know who makes them. Does the APC look right? I thought it was longer than that. If not then that new Joe vehicle really does look alot like the Aliens APC.
