The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Re: What's 1:32nd...two fer the price of one (XD that is)

...hey, one day you'll be seduced by the small scale stuff, but meanwhile, congrats on finally getting the TBFs...somehow I thought you'd have gotten one off the web already...I got the Atlantic & 3 of the Flight 19's...they are superb...I got a Bunker Hill on the way from MD (won't believe it 'til it's in my hands, but it probably be the Pride of my Air Fleet)...

How does the Monkey price these figures???
One day they are this price and then the next (or hour) they are another price... do you think it's based on how many of something sells?
The Green Japanese were 2.95 when first introduced and now they are 3.95 - what gives?

Yes its based on demand, the less figures there are the higher the price, so that's why you have to act quickly, SS' sets were $10 when this first stated, now they are $45.

Oh yes, I jumped on the SS kits @ 10.00 each and got the 88's @ 29.99
Yes, you must dance the MONKEY first to get the best pricing.
I understand they are gonna raise the price if everyone wants them. Makes sense. But I don't know why they started out so low at the beginning? Didn't think it would sell?

Those SS sets probably were the best deal that MD has offered. Kinda surprised that they didn't sell off the entire inventory they had at those prices.

For you 1/6 scale collectors, the Kettnkrad (sp?) with trailer and 2 figures strikes me as a pretty good deal.

Flight 19 Avenger back up. (George Stivers)
I picked up an Atlantic Avenger from a boardmember about three weeks ago while home on R&R. Glad I got a TBF, they're beautiful models.

I agree, the 21st Avenger is a beautiful model. I got two on Wednesday, Atlantic and Flight 19 FT 81. Both arrived in fine condition and I'm very happy with them.

Man/ I picked up the BH Corsair when it first went up the other day for 49.99 and as soon as I checked out they went up 10 bucks and now they are up 20. I wonder if they just have someone there looking at the screen and looking at sales?

Other side of world = Bad Monkey timing
Seems that when I'm asleep in Iraq, all the good deals go up. Been looking to pick up a Seeman and here they come and go like a fart in the wind. Rats!

And that's all folks! Sales over........
Yes, there is still stuff on sale, but no banner up front and most likely NO new stuff added.

@ .50 a piece I can try to figure out something.
They are dressed in white, so maybe they will get a camo design?
Who knows?

MD has the "Sahara" figures up for $0.95. I've gotten some of these to use in a modern Iraq dio I'm working on and, with head swaps (for instance, w/ the Indiana Jones Middle East figures) and paint, you can mix and match to people a street scene quite nicely with them.
Also, MD is offering a bundle of all the tan uniform IJA figures now that equals a little bit of a discount over buying them separately.

Has anybody ever gotten *additional* items with there MD purchases?
One order they swapped a 1:18 Mustang for the Seeman (I did not complain, even though the Seeman was a dupe for me ... picked my first up at a WalMart). Another order simply came with another box addressed to me, but with additional 1:6 scale stuff.
I'll email MD and ask as well, as the second order (three boxes) did not include an invoice statement, but on-line and via email I did get three parcel notifications and they showed everything I ordered.
I'm not complaining, but wondering if maybe there are special deals.
