Sahara 1/18 M113 on Ebay

Post by Razor17019 » Mon Jul 11, 2005 5:49 am

Hey all,
Look what I found on Ebay today:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... Track=true

It is for a M113 in the Sahara Movie colors.
It is from a brand new seller aussietoysgames (with US address)

I thought these vehicles were not being released?

Anybody else see any other Sahara items: figures, tank, helicopter??

This is great, a new toy on eBay before we even find out the line is being released.

Sure glad, we, the 21C fans, knew all about this  NOT.

I checked with the seller and he said:

I apologize for the confusion on the picture, but the M113A2 is actually the desert camo version and NOT the Sahara version. 21st Century Toys has yet to release any of the Sahara products expected ship date right now is sometime in August.

So- put out the fire cause the Sarhara items are not out yet...

WOW, first a guy starts a fire, and then he says to put it out :P

Just another case of a eBay seller saying whatever he wants in order to make a sale. I wonder if he will clarify his error in the sale item description, seems to me he went to alot of trouble to dig up a Sahara pic.

Oh, well

And according to their shipping rates, it would cost me $11.22 to get it shipped.

Heck, it won't cost much more than that to have TWO F-104's shipped! ($17.99)

Well, at least the seller gets potential purchasers to look at the auction even though the item pictured isn't what is offered for sale. To be fair though, the seller should revise his description or change the picture. Very misleading.
