21st MARINES COBRA
I m new to this hobby and only got 2 bbi airpalnes (p51 and little bird) before getting the fantastic COBRA - i m impressed by evrything but 2 details : the rocket pods were inward instead of outward and the only figure is desappoing(knee and waist) does all the 21st century toys are the same figures ? the aircraft is nonetheless impressive with the 2 bbi helicopter pilots on board (thanx ebay for the gret figures)

The figure quality between the different planes vary greatly. The Cobra figure is one of the worst in the entire series, and isn't correct for the helicopter. Other aircraft have outstanding figures like Corsair pilot.
When it comes to figures with vehicles, it's feast or famine. Worst ever XD figures will forever be the M113 figures. The Cobra pilot is a close second in my book..... Figure articulation varies as well. From the old twist leg figures to the new ball jointed ones. It seems like 21st figures are like a box of chocolates......
That said, all versions of the cobra sport extremely accurate paint schemes. The pods should have an upward tilt towards the front. For some reason, this isn't the case. Also, the rotor blades turn in the wrong direction. Real minor, though......

Cobra
Still is one of my favorite pieces and $ for $ the best 1:18 AC around. Rivets, engine access, detailed cockpit - this bird does not get the respect it deserves.
2 Real pilots would have helped but I like the pack-in figure as a CIA, civilian contractor or SF Operator. Matter of fact - if anyone wants to swap their Cobra pilot for a bbi pilot drop me a PM.
